Tournament Success: Congrats to Holt U10 White and Holt U12 D&M

Congratulations to the boys on coach Coscarella's U10 White team for earning runner up trophies in the Mid-Michigan PONY League's U10 end-of-season tournament. The final game was a close loss to Williamston 1-0 in the championship game.


Congratulations to the boys on coach Denison's U12 D&M team for winning 1st place in the Mid-Michigan PONY League's U12 upper division end-of-season tournament. They went undefeated into the championship game but lost 7-4 to Stockbridge. This required a second championship game in which Holt came out strong and put ‘em away 13-2 for the championship.

Congratulations to both teams and to all the teams that had victories in the tournament this past week.

Congrats U10 Gold Team -- A Season To Remember!

 Congratulations to the U10 Gold Team for a Season To Remember!  For the first time in HJRB history, the Holt Jr. Rams had a team that competed in six tournaments in one season including the sectional Pony Tournament in which they came in 2nd.  Overall in tournament play,  they had one first place and three second place finishes.  In addition to the tournaments, the U10 Gold Team finished with a 9 - 2 -1 record in regular league play.  Nice job to all of the players and coaches!! Go Holt Jr. Rams!!!

U12 D&M Silkscreen finishes undefeted!

The Holt Jr. Rams U12 D&M Silkscreen team had to come from behind again to beat Waverly, which gives Holt D&M a perfect 12-0 record for the season in their division!!!   Holt D&M fell behind 4-0 in the first two innings as their bats started out cold.  However they were able to turn the game around by not getting down on themselves, playing better defense,  and heating up the bats in subsequent innings.  They managed to come from behind and win it 7 – 4.
