Holt Jr Rams U10 Orange wins again at Stockbridge

On Thursday night, our little Rams really showed their mettle by playing a full game in some very wet and cold weather at Stockbridge. It was a chilly and rainy night with most of us parents huddled under umbrellas to watch our team tough out the weather and play ball. The Stockbridge Mustangs #3 team was just as tough, hanging in there and at one time, pulling into the lead. In the last inning though, the Jr Rams U10 Orange team dug in their heels, picked up their heads and came back for an 8 to 6 win. Our current standings are 3-1. We are so proud of all of the players for their perserverence that night! We are looking forward to (hopefully) better weather at home on Monday when we face the Jr Rams U10 Blue team.

Holt Jr Rams U10 Orange Win 2nd game

The Holt Jr. Rams Orange U10 won their second game on May 15. They stayed sharp despite the warm weather and handily defeated Stockbridge Mustangs #3 with a final score of 11-0 at home. Christian and Jacob brought their own heat to the game from the pitcher's mound, each doing an oustanding job in shutting out the Mustangs. Chase started the game off with a fantastic double. Christian and Chance both recorded hits with two RBI's and the rest of the team did their part to help secure the team's second victory. The Jr. Rams Orange team will be looking to stay undefeated next Thursday as they head into Lansing to play at St. Gerard.
